Staying at Hotel Alén do Mar was a delightful experience. The views from my room's terrace were breathtaking, showcasing the stunning aqua blue water just meters away. The room itself was spacious and modernly decorated, exceeding my expectations in cleanliness and comfort. I was especially impressed by the well-appointed bathroom and the thoughtful touches, like the free toiletries. Staff treated me like family. From the warm welcome during check-in to the attentive service during breakfast, I felt truly cared for. The breakfast options were varied and delicious, with great coffee to jumpstart my day. A slight inconvenience was the distance to town, about 3 km away, which made dining out a bit challenging without a vehicle. Also, the beach cafe nearby didn’t meet my expectations. However, the main beach was just a short walk away and definitely made up for it. Overall, my stay was fantastic.

The hotel's proximity to the beachfront was delightful.
Unfortunately, I found the air-conditioning in the room to be ineffective, leaving us uncomfortable during the night. Additionally, the 3 km distance to the nearest town made dining out quite challenging without a car. I also noticed that the nearby beach café did not offer appealing food options, which was disappointing given our expectations.
